VIEW CART AND CHECKOUT

Inspired by one of my favorite ways to see the city, driving across the Roebling Bridge. During the Summer of 2023 I would wake up bright and early on Sundays so I could safely take reference photography for this print while the city was still sleeping in.

The original large-format woodblock took me a month of labor to illustrate and carve the 1500 square inch woodblock — 82 hours of which were spent carving. My intention for this piece was to capture that feeling as if you were standing on the deck of the bridge; the large-scale of this print was used to fill the viewer’s field of vision to create a piece that becomes a focal point of a wall or room.
