Geometric Cincinnati Skyline 2023 Letterpress
A 2023 update of one of my most popular pieces of art! In 2015 I created this dense scene of Cincinnati inspired by that feeling of driving down the cut in the hill towards Downtown. Since then I created a dual line weight illustration style of frontal buildings, focusing on landmarks over an infusion of cultural iconography.
For this edition I wanted to capture the elegance of our Art Deco legacy and printed a matte gold ink onto a soft-touch Plike paper. I printed this edition on a Vandercook 4 Letterpress.
Designed to fit standard US stock frames — I add blank space to the edges of the print so no mat is required.
